NovaSMP Rules

 1) Respectful griefing: Griefing is allowed only with a valid reason, such as a mutually agreed-upon battle, raid, or staff-approved event.  

2) Obtain consent: Always obtain explicit consent from the owner of a structure before initiating any modifying activities.  

3) PvP with consent: PvP is permissible for valid reasons, such as mutually agreed-upon duels, battles, or defending one's property. Players have the right to decline PvP, and their decision must be respected.  

4) No spawn camping: Refrain from repeatedly targeting players immediately after they spawn, allowing them time to acclimate and prepare.  

5) Limited griefing: Avoid excessive destruction or damage to structures during griefing activities, aiming for a challenge or strategic advantage rather than total annihilation.  

6) No unfair advantages: The use of hacks, cheats, or any form of unfair advantage that undermines gameplay balance is strictly prohibited.  

7) Preserve server infrastructure: Do not disrupt or damage server structures, mechanisms, or any other components necessary for the smooth server operation.  

8) Effective communication: Communicate intentions and reasons for PvP or griefing with involved parties to ensure mutual understanding and consent.  

9) Non-toxic behavior: Maintain a positive and respectful atmosphere, refraining from using inappropriate language, engaging in bullying, or any form of toxic behavior.  

10) Stealing items: Stealing is permitted only for valid reasons when the property owner is online.  

11) Respect personal boundaries: Do not enter or tamper with another player's private property or storage areas without explicit permission.
